Groups are classes or study groups made by our Memrise users. They are beneficial to people who would like to learn together as a group.
Please note: group functionalities are only currently available on web.
A group creator can add multiple courses to a group and then invite members to join and learn together. The group function can be beneficial, because the students / group members can compete against each other for the first place in the Leaderboards. Members can also see the weekly, monthly and all time high-scores.
This feature can be a useful teaching tool for schools, as teachers can add students to their groups and track their learning progress. Teachers can also access a special overview of the students, e.g., they can see how long they have studied on Memrise, which words they have trouble learning and how many words are in their Long Term Memory.
Groups are not public, therefore users have to be invited directly by the group creator to join.
All Memrise users can create groups. Create a group today and start competing with your friends!
